I am a Developer Educator at PlanetScale. In this role I create a bunch of fun and educational content centered around database scaling and MySQL. You can find some of my work here and on our YouTube channel.

I used to be a Faculty member in the Computer Science department at the University of Arizona. At some point in the near future, I may put my course websites back online, but for now they are down. I also created PyFlo.net and plan to open source it soon.

I enjoy programming, education, photography, which is (will be?) reflected in my blog :)
